FAHAD ALAZMI

Co-Founder & Partner — Digital Commerce, Operations & Business Development

Building secure and scalable digital commerce through practical execution, strong partnerships, and continuous improvement.

ABOUT

I am the Co-Founder and Partner of Acwady, a Kuwait-based digital commerce platform specializing in digital cards, gaming products, subscriptions, and digital services.

My role spans different areas of the business, with particular focus on suppliers and partnerships, digital products, pricing, payments, fraud prevention, operations, business development, and expansion opportunities.

I take a cross-functional view of the business, focusing on how its different parts work together. I work closely with my business partner and the relevant specialists to identify problems and opportunities, evaluate possible solutions, and turn decisions into practical action.

At Acwady, major business decisions are made jointly between the founders. We discuss ideas, challenge different viewpoints, analyze the available options, and move forward when we believe a decision serves the company’s long-term interests.

I believe strong businesses are built through continuous improvement, practical decision-making, shared responsibility, and the ability to adapt as markets and customer needs evolve.

WHAT I FOCUS ON

Digital Commerce

Hands-on understanding of the digital products market, including gift cards, gaming products, subscriptions, digital codes, direct top-ups, payments, suppliers, pricing, and digital delivery models.

Suppliers & Partnerships

Identifying potential suppliers, building commercial relationships, negotiating terms, reviewing product availability, comparing costs and discounts, and evaluating which suppliers and products best fit the business.

Product & Business Development

Exploring new digital products, categories, suppliers, payment opportunities, partnerships, and markets that can strengthen the business and create sustainable growth opportunities.

Pricing & Commercial Analysis

Evaluating supplier cost, payment fees, selling price, expected margin, customer demand, and market competitiveness when introducing or reviewing products.

Risk & Fraud Prevention

Contributing to practical fraud-prevention policies and operational controls based on customer behavior, transaction risk, and real business experience.

This includes helping shape measures such as customer roles, purchasing limits, and product access based on account status and risk level.

Payments

Understanding the commercial and operational side of payment methods, including their costs, reliability, impact on margins, customer experience, and role in the overall purchasing journey.

Operations

Identifying operational issues, understanding their business impact, discussing possible solutions, and working with the relevant teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and execution.

HOW I WORK

I believe good decisions rarely come from one person having all the answers.

When an important issue arises, I focus first on understanding the problem. I then discuss it openly, gather different perspectives, evaluate the available options and trade-offs, and work toward the solution that best serves the business.

I work closely with the people closest to each area of the company — whether technical, marketing, operational, financial, or customer-related — so that decisions reflect both specialist knowledge and business needs.

My role is often to understand the business need, define the problem clearly, ask the right questions, evaluate the available solutions, and participate directly in final business decisions.

The objective is not for one person’s opinion to prevail over another. The objective is to make the best possible decision for the company.

BUSINESS MINDSET

When evaluating a new product, partnership, or business opportunity, I look at several factors together:

  • Is there real customer demand?
  • Is the supplier reliable?
  • What does the product cost?
  • What will the customer pay?
  • What are the payment fees?
  • What margin remains after the transaction?
  • Is the final price competitive?
  • What operational or fraud risks could arise?
  • Can the process scale efficiently?
  • Will the decision create long-term value for the business?

I prefer practical decisions based on a combination of experience, available data, market conditions, and discussion with the people involved.

MISSION

Build Trust

Make digital commerce safer, clearer, and more reliable for customers.

Keep Improving

Continuously improve products, operations, partnerships, and internal processes rather than becoming comfortable with the current level.

Grow Responsibly

Pursue growth and expansion while protecting customer trust and the financial, operational, and reputational strength of the business.

Create Real Value

Build products and services that address real customer needs and create sustainable value for the business and the market.

VISION

To continue building Acwady into a trusted and scalable digital commerce business with the ability to grow from Kuwait into regional markets.

My vision is to build businesses that understand their customers, manage risk responsibly, use technology effectively, and continue evolving as markets and consumer needs change.

Long-term success, to me, is not simply about becoming bigger. It is about building businesses that are commercially strong, operationally reliable, adaptable, and capable of lasting.

VALUES

Long-Term Thinking

Put the long-term interests of the company ahead of individual preferences when making important decisions.

Transparency

Build stronger trust through clear communication and honest relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibility

Consider the impact of important decisions on customers, partners, operations, risk, and the future of the business.

Continuous Improvement

Always look for opportunities to improve products, processes, decisions, partnerships, and customer experience.

Practical Thinking

Ideas matter, but execution, measurable results, and sustainability matter more.

Partnership

Strong businesses are built through cooperation, different perspectives, mutual respect, and shared responsibility.
